COW LEATHER

Our cow leather comes from French cows and is tanned in Italy with vegetable products.

  • Cow leather frames will gain patina and darken over time depending on the pH and acidity of the skin and with exposure to UV rays.

  • Cow leather tanned with vegetable products is free of chrome and therefore does not pose any risk of allergies.

  • The skins go through a manual process that gives them a smooth texture while maintaining the consistency of the material.

Leather care instructions

Clean your frame with natural soap, especially to remove spots or an excess of oil:

  • Place the frame directly under cold water while massaging the leather to help it absorb the water.

  • Apply scent-free natural soap on the front and the branches for a few minutes. You can use Marseille soap or soap made specially for leather.

  • Rinse thoroughly.

  • Dry the frame by patting it with a clean cloth.

  • Let it dry completely overnight.

Remove traces of make-up from the leather:

  • Put some micellar water on the tip of a cotton swab. Remove any excess water and clean the leather.

Remove a scratch on the leather:

  • Massage the leather with your finger and the soft part of your fingernail or with a flat rounded object.
